First off, we made reservations for the mothers day brunch buffet. They felt the need to tell us "we're a little limited on space" and proceeded to put us for away from the actual buffet. The food was over seasoned and tasted very poor. At least that was the case when there was actually food ON the buffet; most items were missing a majority of the time. The server was not attentive at all, rarely coming by with drink refills. She left a pitcher of water on the table, and couldn't even refill that when it was empty. At one point I asked her for a spoon for my yogurt, and after assuring me she would be right back with one, never came back. Several of the servers could be heard complaining about the customers within ear shot of the customers. To top it all off, the buffet was $21. So it's $21 for poor food and mediocre service. It's understandable that it was busy, but they should be prepared for such an influx of customers on a day like mothers day. 

This is NOT the experience I would expect from a Green Mill. I would have gotten better food and service at the Perkins down the road, and it would have been half the price.

In conclusion, they lost 8 customers today who will not be coming back.

My kids and I stay at the Plaza Hotel and we always go to Green Mill for meals.  They have good drinks,  great choices for kids meals, and really nice wait staff.   Love it!!

Great waitress, unfortunately the buffet--not so good.  Most folks order a lunch buffet for variety and to avoid waiting for preparation.  The salad bar is well stocked, but pizza and pasta were usually empty requiring a wait.  The variety of pizza is very limited and of lesser quality than individually ordered pizza.  I have eaten at this lunch buffet many times and the hot food is not good.  Today was my last visit.

Had a great experience at Green Mill the other night! Our server Allie recommended the Lobster Mac and Cheese and I was pleasantly surprised! It was very creamy and all around delicious, it might be my new favorite. Allie made the experience very enjoyable and I look forward to coming in again some time soon.

Great tasting burger.  Perhaps you could mention that it's a 3 to 1 and you only get a small handful of sandbaged  frys.  $18 with drink and good tip is way too much for what I got.
