Locally owned business. Friendly staff and environment. In addition to typical pharmacy products and services, there is a lunch counter. The service, food, and staff are excellent.. The items on the menu are reasonably priced.It has been there for many years.  I highly recommend it.

Mr. Box and his staff are simply the best.  They are the definition of customer service.  They treat you like family.  Not to mention, they have the BEST burger in town:)

This is the most awesome place in Birmingham!! I have been trading
with them for many, many years. They have the friendliest staff you have EVER dealt with. One day while picking up my prescriptions, i did not have 
enough cash. I asked the young Lady to hold onto one, as I had been thru
a "Tough" Month and low on money. She,(a college student) Sneaked and took her own money and paid for my medicine. I am a 52 year old 325LB.
man, I have to admit, I broke down and cried. The crazy thing is, I believe all of Bills employees would have done it! And, there is no way I can write this review, and not mention the incredible FOOD! Yes, BEST Hamburgers and Home made Shakes in Birmingham. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!!

The grilled pimento cheese sandwich with bacon, lettuce and tomato was delicious but pricey. $7 with tax. 

They are known for their old time feel serving burgers and old fashioned shakes.
