Story

In 2014, we recognized that there was a need in our community for a pharmacy that will provide patient centered pharmaceutical care, "independent" from the direct influence of a large profit driven corporation. Being independently owned means that we are able to place our focus back on our "stake-holders", not "share-holders". We aim to foster the Patient-Pharmacist relationship and work together to achieve a better quality of life for both the patient and the pharmacist.
We discovered that our personalized approach was able to lower ER/ hospital readmission rate, and reduce the time and money spent in getting their medications in several of our patients. Doctor offices also expressed that our pharmacy has reduced their workload in processing prescription orders. We encourage you to talk to any of our patients and providers to see the difference.

This is but the first step in achieving our motto of Whole Person Care and pharmaceutical Excellency.

At Green Valley Pharmacy, we innovate and provide proactive pharmaceutical care to all our patients and healthcare providers. Our goal is to work with our patients to achieve a longer healthier life, so they are able to do what they enjoy doing. Instead of the traditional prescription filling and refilling on demand, we work with our patients and providers ahead of time to customize a treatment plan the fits their lifestyle.

Green Valley Pharmacy is Yucaipa's Hometown Pharmacy owned by Walter and Sylvia Wong, a good old Mom and Pop. We focus in providing Whole Person Care aside from pharmaceutical services. After years of working for a chain pharmacy and different independent pharmacies, we understand what an independent pharmacy can provide to the community that chains cannot, a relationship.
