The Greenbelt CO-OP Supermarket & Pharmacy is Greenbelt’s only community owned and operated Supermarket & Pharmacy. Greenbelt CO-OP Supermarket & Pharmacy is open to everyone, you don’t have to be a member to shop and save with us, though membership does offer many additional benefits.

This grocery store has a great small town feel to it.  The Coop has a pharmacy with staff who know your name, a deli with fresh cold cuts and cheese, and a hot bar to take away lunch or dinner.  The store also holds frequent wine tastings, and sells beer and wine to go.

The great: convenient location for the Greenbelt community
The good: mostly friendly customer service
The bad: produce and meat selection is very inconsisten and unreliable
The very bad: meat and produce offered are  consistently VERY poor quality, unfortunately. Generally more expensive than most stores, except maybe whole foods (which frankly I wouldn't mind driving the distance and paying the extra cash for the quality of their product) 

So if you never cook and eat strictly canned, packaged and processed food, then you should have no problem here.

Great little store with impressive selection.  Many prices more than big supermarkets, but they have  great sales on eggs, ice cream, tastycakes, pasta sauces. Check the News Review.
 Best price on quarts of milk. The best part, I can walk there and when my grandsons visit, they love to walk down and pick out what they want for meals. I love this store. Check out their Clint's mild Texas salsa. I can't find it anywhere else. Their best yet brand marinara spaghetti sauce is great too.

Small store but have everything you want and need!and the pharmacy is a great pharmacy! They dont take all your money if you are paying cash! the staff are all very friendly. I dont like big places i prefer small places and this is perfect for me.

I am a member. They have a lot of items I don't find anywhere else. The quality of their produce and meats are top quality, and the staff is super friendly and helpful.
