Very natural park. Camping spots small and cramped. When We visited few campers in our loop so cramping wasnt an issue for us. Lots of deer. We enjoyed. Couldn't believe it was so close to DC

Excellent part close to D.C. The only negative was the female stalls were in poor condition. None of the stalls had locks and some didn't even have a door. Overall, nice place for a quick overnight stay.

Friendly staff, walking trails. No electricity bot we were able to run our generator. Shower house could use a good cleaning.  We were within a mile or two of a Metro Station.  It was easy and economical to get to D.C.

I like this nearby park for hiking my dog (he loves to run in the creek).  There's a lot of noise from nearby busy roads but parts of the trail feel away from things.  Beware of summer ticks though!  We usually only go here in the cold weather.

This park is great! We take our dog here all the time and walk their perimeter trail. It's a little over 5 miles.
