You will be able to see the lone sailor statue and the flag mast. But something is missing. Nothing special about it. As a navy vet, it was disappointing.

In this plaza is great eating places. The plaza is a good spot to park nearby, using the back streets is best if you get there later in the day. A short walk will get you to this memorial. The circle in the middle of the memorial is worth picture taking. Then we would start out at the B in DC which is a great bourbon, beer and burger place adjacent to the Navy Memorial.

One of many plaza honoring the military services, persons of history, or historical events. The small Navy museum is very nice.

Attended a business luncheon here which was privately catered. Memorial staff attentive, accommodating and intuitive as to guests' needs. Interesting and educational exhibits.
