Horrible school don't place your child in this school they discriminate against certain children and families. This school is very disfuncional and will be shut down soon with unprofessional staff at this school. I don't recommend this school to anyone. People at this school think they are so upscale and are very incompet how can they teach children when they are unfair, and uneducated. This school should be ashamed of themselves. 😵👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

My son has been here since first grade. He was removed from three public schools. This was different we had to do an interview, when we got to the school it wasn't a school. Its a campus, which also has residential. The campus and school itself is extremely clean, they do have geese that live there, which shows me its closer to nature from where we live. They have a pool where they taught my son to swim. They are very close with the parents and keep great communication with us. They are all about structure, so anything i want to follow at home and dont want my child doing or a certain skill i want him to build because hes ready for something new, they are extremly supportive, so the structure thats best for my child as an individual is enforced. I love it. The classes are small and when they get new teachers they let them know about the student. They are very friendly and you can communicate whether through email or text which this year my sons teacher is an emailer, which i prefer to text directly. They had staff on every floor in the hall and the ones to ones are to wear jeans and sneakers because some students are runners, which shows me even in attire different positions are all based around the children. They let them know must be prepared at any given second. They WANT your at school no matter what. Even if your kid has an appointment and you let their attendance teacher know ahead of time and its not extremely far from the school example Staten island it will be arragnged to get your child to the appointment. So parents if you don't want your kid to miss a full day, they will arrange for drop off at your appointment so that your child is not missing out on a full day of learning. Yes sometimes the school closes or won't pick up children. But who wants their child traveling on a high way in horrid weather, i rather stress out about him missing school than stress out about he was an accident because the school was open. They are always doing and creating new ways for children to learn and have fun. The principal Mr. Toben is awesome and very into making sure all his students are safe and very involved in all. Even when my son was having an issue on the bus when he was struggling his coat was thrown out the window on the school bus. Mr. Toben made sure my son got a new one. Which was a blessing because i wouldnt had been able to get him a new one at that specific time. My son is in fifth grade now and hes doing so well hes even asking me to go to a school near by because he says hes doing to good in school. I will never change his school unless i move out of state because this school is different even my child himself who would do nothing but scream and turn over tables and break stuff all day where he would be separated for most of the day went from that to telling me out his own mouth four years later hes doing great and hes working and he gets role modle because he helps new students. He would come home with awards for every skill he accomplished. First 2 years he learned the basic skills to just be able to sit in a class and was rewarded with certificates that i can probaly fill every wall in his room. That wasn't only a reward for him but it made me see later on how much my son was progressing and growing even tho we had a long way to go. The differnece betwn my child when he started and my child now i have to say everyone in this school had a part of that. And i would always recommend this school i tell parents even if your child doesn't make the cut for an interview try it because you won't regret it if they get in. No matter what everyone bottom line is this is the best school you will find for your child. The support, the effort, the structure, the help, the information, the open communication is all million percent effort for our children as individuals!!!!!
