The food is decent but the service was incredibly slow. They were severely understaffed. We were there at lunch hour and they only seemed to have two people working the front of the house. My photos make the food look better than it actually was. The food was adequate but nothing special. The cheese curds were just a glob of commingled curds. The tots were cooked properly but the rye bread on the Ruben must not have been very fresh because it was falling apart at the seams of the marble rye after a few bites it was falling apart so badly I could no longer hold the sandwich and had to resort to using a knife and fork. The solution to everything might be to properly train staff and have enough of them on duty at lunch hour.
Fun bar with great food loved their cheese curds immensely! They have a huge beer selection on tap, which is awesome. Staff is really friendly, and they play great music as a millennial, I really appreciated all the punk rock throwbacks. I’ll definitely be back again and again.Dine in: Yes
I don't know why it took me so long to go here. Probably because the location isn't on any route I take regularly. That being said, this is probably my favorite restaurant in Oshkosh. Everything I have had has been absolutely fantastic. They make a great spicy Bloody Mary. All the appetizers especially the chips and queso are top notch. The wings are some of the best wings you can get in town. The sandwiches are delicious. To top off the amazing food they have, the staff is incredible. Always making sure your drinks are filled and food comes out quickly even when its busy. If you have put off visiting, definitely check this place out the next time you are needing dinner.
We have been trying to get here on our way up north and back to New Berlin for quite some time now. Today was the day, and I'm so sad that we didn't get a chance to stop sooner. The atmosphere is awesome, the food was great, the beer selection rocks, and the staff was SO friendly. We will be going out of our way to stop back here as much as possible on our road trips in the future. I cannot say enough about how great this place is...wish it was closer!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Greene's Pour House, and I can honestly say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The restaurant had an inviting atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Tonight’s entertainment was great live music playing in the restaurant's center. The menu selections were creative and exciting, and my meal was delicious. I highly recommend the cheese curds and the tortilla chips. The presentation of the dishes was exquisite, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The drinks were perfectly mixed, and the appetizers were delightful. The cheeseburger sliders were average. Overall I felt that my meal was worth it, and I highly recommend Greene's Pour House to anyone looking for a fantastic restaurant experience. If you're looking for an enjoyable meal with excellent service, waitress/waiter attentiveness and service have always been top-notch, I highly recommend Greene's Pour House. I especially recommend this place for the sports fanatic due to the well-positioned and large number of televisions across the bar.
I loved the vibe of this place, it was modern and relaxed. They had plenty of menu options for all palates. The service was average , nothing over the top, and the staff was pleasant. I would definitely come back again. I ordered the PABST sandwich and vegetables as my side, the portion size was very generous.Food: 5/5
I ordered a "bourbon old fashioned sour, Knob Hill." They served me a draft beer. I questioned the drink and both the bartender and the waiter were convinced it was the correct drink. To be fair, it was a good beer... But it was not an old fashioned. Good beer menu, but criminally poor staffing, with inexperienced staff.
Eh. Food was ok. Service was not great. Started out with " you ready to order " with no emotion. Server would Rather sit behind the bar on their phone. Asked for another beer. Server Went and sat down and ate for 10 mins at the bar then came back with my beer. No sorry I totally forgot. Not a smile nothing. Wasn't terrible wasn't good. Way better places in Oshkosh.
Love the Chicken Caesar Salad and the Brandy Old Fashions. Our waitress, Ally, was amazing, attentive and so friendly! Will definitely come back!!
Food is good. Service was a bit slow both times and inconsistent. What really annoyed me though is the 3% up charge to pay with card and a suggested tip of 25-35% on the bill. I thought standard was 15%? I usually tip at least 20%, now i'm a cheapskate. I realize costs have gone up so food prices are going to be higher. Wages also went up to atteact servers so the people working there should be making significantly more than 2-3 years ago-hence additional price increases. Now a meal that used to cost my family $90-100 $108-120 w/ tip is costing $120-140 and with the increased tip and transaction fee, it takes it to $154-$208 -for a lunch, with two kids sharing a plate! Ok, you win this time. But this is a big reason why foot traffic is down. People are choosing to eat out less because the experience isn't worth the cost. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to get the building and up to the seating area. However, signage and things need to be moved out of the way to get in and the majority of the tables are high-topped indoors.
