Greenwich Hospital is a 206-bed (including bassinets) hospital serving lower Fairfield County Connecticut and Westchester County NY. A major academic affiliate of Yale University School of Medicine, GH is a member of the Yale New Haven Health System.

Story

Greenwich Hospital, founded in 1903, has been a member of the Yale New Haven Health System since 1998 and is an academic affiliate of Yale University School of Medicine. We are a progressive 174-bed regional medical center and teaching institution serving residents of Fairfield and Westchester counties. Approximately 40 percent of the hospital’s patients now come from New York communities. The hospital has attained a national reputation for patient safety, clinical excellence and customer service combining the latest technological advances with skilled, compassionate physicians and healthcare professionals who deliver the highest level of patient care.

Products

At Greenwich Hospital, care is provided on a beautiful, modern campus designed to create a healing environment for patients and visitors.

Our patients have access to a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, diagnostic, integrative medicine and wellness programs. The hospital offers medical innovations from robotic surgery to sophisticated diagnostic imaging to national clinical trials. Recently, the hospital brought the latest advancements in cancer care to the region with the installation of the Novalis TX, one of the newest generations of linear accelerators used in radiation therapy. Another new program is the Hyperbaric and Wound Care Center which offers hyperbaric oxygen therapy to treat chronic, non healing wounds.

The campus includes the state-of-the-art Helmsley Medical Building and the Watson Pavilion. The Bendheim Cancer Center and the Breast Center are in the Cohen Pavilion across from the hospital. Satellite facilities in Greenwich include the Center for Integrative Medicine, Endoscopy Center, Holly Hill Ambulatory Surgery Center, and the Richard R. Pivirotto Center for Healthy Living and the Greenwich Hospital Diagnostic Center in Stamford.
