The Grossmont Healthcare District (GHD) is a public agency that supports health-related community programs and services in San Diego’s East County region.
GHD strives to provide the best resources and information to address the unmet healthcare needs of our community.
The District is governed by a five-member board of directors, elected at large to four-year terms, representing more than one-half million people living in the District's 750 square miles.
As stewards of the public trust, your Grossmont Healthcare District will preserve and protect those resources entrusted to its care.
To maintain and improve the physical and behavioral health of its constituents, we will:
Monitor the health care services provided at Grossmont Hospital.
Anticipate and recognize the unmet health care needs of the communities we serve and support suitable services to the greatest extent possible consistent with available resources.
