Growing Wild is owned and operated by Lisa Hoven Gallien and Lee Hoven Bakos for over 23 years. Situated in the heart of Manhattan Beach, Growing Wild is the premier flower shop in the area known for their innovative designs in both fresh and silk mediums. First off, let me say that it costs an arm and a leg for a bunch of succulents. but, in that respect, let me also say that the work that goes into these terrariums is art itself. I know that I don't have the talent to make these by myself, therefore it is pretty valuable. also, each terrarium is one of a kind. the shop owner is also very polite and knowledgable in his plants. I'm truly impressed.

From the very start I should have been wary, called approximately 10 times before I was able to reach anyone at the store. The staff who answered the phone was apologetic and took my order for an orchid to be delivered the following day for a birthday. The flowers were never delivered. For flower store who advertises as a Bloomnation partner, this is pretty disappointing although not as disappointed as my girlfriend who did not receive flowers on her birthday. I will look elsewhere for flowers next time.

Growing Wild is hands-down the best quality florist I have ever come across - a total class act. Their arrangements and wreaths are the most original and beautiful. And they have gorgeous and creative home decor for the holidays and throughout the year - indeed, I just received some of their Thanksgiving decor that promptly went on my mantle. I have other pieces from Growing Wild that I bring out for Easter and Christmas that I love - they are elegant pieces that stand the test of time (their ornaments are like no others!). Still hanging is a shell wreath I was given as a house warming present 13 years ago that makes the room. The owners are incredibly generous to the community as well. I co-founded a nonprofit and Growing Wild has, without exception, answered the call for every single event we have ever thrown. They are true community partners, and for that we in this tiny beach town are grateful.

Extraordinary flowers, service, and attention to detail. I've ordered from Growing Wild on several occasions and every time, the recipient was extremely happy and satisfied and commented on the incredible arrangements. Most have also sent pictures of the arrangements I'd sent and I've always had my expectations surpassed with the arrangement that was sent. THANK YOU!

Growing Wild is a fantastic florist shop. You will not be disappointed. They make beautiful arrangements and are always on the cutting edge of design. Whether you are looking for a gift, a centerpiece for a party, or a beautiful piece for your home, you will be able to find it here. My personal favorites are their door wreaths and their succulents. I also like to purchase hostess gifts here during the holidays because they always have great ornaments and unique things in all price ranges.
