One of the cleanest motels on flatshoals/Chandler road. Very professional staff housekeeping is on point... I recommend this place than any other .... I would give 10 stars

I moved to Georgia two months ago and little has gone right! Thank God for Gulf American Inn and their amazing staff!!! Not only is the management team helpful and courteous but they truly care about their guests!
The rooms are clean and accommodating!!!! The price is reasonable and hotel security makes you feel safe so you'll sleep sound!
Whether you're in need of a room for a night or someplace to transition I highly recommend Gulf American Inn!

The staff was nice, and had the room been clean and some minor adjustments it would have been okay, had people not been begging for money out front....

I booked the room because of the good reviews but I now wish I didn’t... I stayed here on the first weekend of November... because of all the people outside loitering I was scared to even turn the light off while I slept, I slept for about 2 hours and 45 minutes... there was even a state trooper stationed out front, was there when I checked in, and there when I left at 6 am...

The room had dead and live roaches, had it been clean it would have been a nice room. And the bath tub had no lining to it so I slipped and slid as I washed my self, this was of course after I cleaned it off from the pubes I found on it.... I didn’t get under the covers, I wasn’t comfortable enough to do that, but I did pull back the mattress covers to find out if there were bed bugs, I didn’t see any on that corner I looked at but didn’t trust it that much anyways. 

I had a reservation for two nights but when I woke up that morning I couldn’t stay another night so I just checked out, they gave me a refund and asked what was wrong... I didn’t want to complain or seem to be high maintenance so I made up an excuse that I had to go back home, he was also so nice that I didn’t want to hurt his feeglings.

Judging by the exterior you may get a negative impression but there's only so much you can do to improve the appearance of brick. It's been many years since I stayed in this hotel. I love it here. The staff is extremely friendly, it's safe and quiet too. The rooms are wonderfully renovated and very comfortable. I recommend Gulf American Inns 100% for individuals and families. I'm definitely a satisfied customer and when in this area will absolutely come again. The price is fair and affordable.
