They called me this morning. They wanted me my high school diploma. I told the lady I don't have a high school diploma from here. I graduated from college in California. I have a degree from Colllege. Anyway she sounded very rude after that. She said I needed to get a GED class. No way. College does not count. Teach to those people manners.

I came in and passed the entrance exam for the LVN program. After I took the test the receptionist graded it and gave it back to me and told me to call back about 2-3 days later to see if they had started my registration paperwork. So I called today and they said they had lost my test. I told them it wasn't lost I had taken it with me. They had me on hold a while than she came back and told me I needed to bring the test back that had probably made copies or even sold it to someone. I was pissed they even insinuated that I would do that but I took it back. I was than asked to wait to meet with the director of the school. In which he told me that because I took the test home even thought I was unaware that I couldn't take it with me I was unable to attend there school. Also I went with my cousin the first time to take the test and because he was with me he's also unable to attend Gurnick. That me taking the test could result in them loosing there accreditation and people wouldn't be able to pay for school. Which also makes you think all they care about is your money. I took the test and I apologized and make it very clear I didn't make copy's nor did I sell it to anyone. He told me there was nothing he could do but not allow me to start school there. The service there being that they are a school SUCKS. They are rude and very unorganized. Furthermore they wouldn't have even known I had taken it home if I hadn't called. But I feel as thought it wasn't my fault and they are punishing me when I had no idea that the test could be taken home. They receptionist should be at fault being that she graded it and gave it back to me and never told me she needed it back.

I was an applicant from Fresno CA for the MRI program. The staff was completely rude, disrespectful, and incompetent. I took over three days off of work to travel to the campus. On the first meeting, the staff was late coming back from lunch by an hour and a half. The second and third time, the interviewer failed to show up at all for the meeting. The receptionist suggested that I just come back the following Monday and hopefully she would show up. (As if I could just take off another full work day on a whim and travel for four hours for a fifteen minute meeting where the interviewer MIGHT show up as agreed.) I told the receptionist that this treatment was unacceptable and that their incompetence had cost me over $600 in lost wages and gas. I suggested that the interviewer contact me via phone or skype and it was agreed upon. Though it was agreed upon, it was not honored, and my phone call merely consisted of being told that I would need to come in for an interview pending my fafsa results, which had been received, but that the financial aid adviser would be on vacation until an unknown date. Annoyed, I wrote a letter to the director of staff at Gurnick's main campus. She apologized and promised to contact me to straighten things out, but then failed to call me or return my calls for over six months. If you are a respectable student who values a true education from competent individuals, please do yourself a favor and pass on this institution. Frankly, I do not understand how they even keep their doors open. If you are an employer, you might as well toss any GAMA educated applicant in the trash. The institution is a joke.

So I was extremely interested in going especially since I know one of the teachers from before. After I had check out the school online I decided to call in for more info and quickly learned their dates are not correct, they do not give you all the detail that is important online, and that they are very rude when you call in for more info. I have asked to speak to someone else and everyone else is "busy". This is not the only time I have experienced this and even if you go in person they are still rude. Front desk receptionist are suppose to be friendly and helpful even if you have had a bad day! You do not take it out on the next person. The receptionist is the first person you talk to about the school and your first impression of the school and I feel they have failed to keep it professional. I am tired of getting incorrect information and rude customer service and feel that they are definitely not the school of choice for me.
