I definitely liked the collection and location of the store. The quality of the apparel was good and decently priced. But, during a time when brick & mortar retailers are struggling to attract customers to their stores, I can't believe the experience that I had at this store.
My wife, kid and I were the first customers to enter the store that was just opened around 11 am. The store associate didn't bother to greet, make eye contact or even ask if we need help. Awesome start. Needless to say that we spent the next 60 minutes helping ourselves as though it was an unmanned store. Gymboree was keeping up the stride. We shortlisted a few items, checked a few adjacent stores and returned to Gymboree.
There was an additional store associate that welcomed us and asked if we need any help. Thankfully, someone knew customer service. But, the first store associate quixotically responded "Oh, they were already here, they don't need help". Really ?? Maybe we had some questions, maybe we wanted to buy more, maybe we needed assistance.
Ironically, the same treatment was not meted out to customers that were local(if you know what I mean).
Please keep up the impeccable service !! We are extremely pleased :)

The clothing is of the best quality.  However, we went to the store on Friday, November 27th and one of the employees was not nice to us.  My daughter tripped over a wheel of one of the many clothing carts in front of the store window and the employee instead of asking if she was fine, she was loudly complaining for kids playing on the window, etc...  My daughter was not playing, she accidentally fell.  Too many things on the floor are a hazard, and those carts have the wheels sticking out. It was very embarrassing.  My daughter was then crying, she was scared.  The employees should be greeting the customers and asking if they need help.

Extremely rude and temperamental staff Person, I had a very unpleasant experience at the market fair location during my visit, probably the last here. 
When I entered the store I was greeted well by another sales rep. I was there shopping with my husband and two kids, while i was busy trying to find the right size pants for my son. My kids tried couple hats. After few minutes my husband and kids went out of the store and I continued shopping there. This another sales rep keep saying to the nicer : ) rep that this hat has to be put in damaged and bla bla...She said it few times every time i passed her. Basically she was calling for my attention. When I was done shopping I went to the cashier , and she looked very furious. I asked her" are the kids not supposed to try the hats". She said with bubbling anger that they can but they are not supposed to be throwing it and making it dirty. 
I never saw my kids playing with the hats and i asked them later if they dropped it, they confirmed they never did. Even if they did, a sales rep should never have the temperamental behavior like she did. She was so angry that her voice was shaky and she was hardly breathing. 
I told her that she needs to watch her temperament. This another nicer sales rep kept calm and watched this whole scene. Probably she was too scared to say anything to her. I left the store without any purchase. I am glad there was no other customer in the store, that would have left me further embarrassed.
