There just isn't a grocery store like this where I live. It is one of the best things about visiting Texas. Prices and selection are great, especially for fresh produce. The bakery goods are delicious, especially the tortillas sold warm. The staff makes you feel welcome and they are so professional.

Liking this place less and less. Getting to where items are out of stock more often and brand name items are being replaced by their label which in most cases are not as good. Prices increase every visit. I have been driving 40 min. to Aldi when I do major shopping.

If you're looking for the best grocery in Texas, look no further than HEB. Great pricing, diverse products, and superior customer service makes it so!

This HEB is the perfect size. Usually stocked well even on Sundays. Great for late evening shopping.

They in Elgin are PROUD of their gas. Price today and yesterday $2.76. Every other station in Elgin, except Chevron across the street, is in the $2.50 to $2.59 range. Chevron said they went to $2.76 because HEB did. No one in store had answer for why. I went to HEB site to complain, filled out entire form and guess what....NO SUBMIT BUTTON. Guess that is one way to keep from getting comolaints. Manager in store verified everything was filled out. He gave me a post card to fill out and mail. Wonder how long that will take to get to corporate!!!!
