Hands down the BEST flautas I have had at any of the many restaurants we have tried. They were perfect. And can we talk presentation? That is some gorgeous plating! They're also much larger than I expected, with outdoor seating to the front and side of the building. It had poured down raining so we were seated closer to the restaurant, but if you have a large breed dog, the open area is perfect. Margarita was awesome, and she even made sure I got my customary beergarita. Definitely will be checking out the other two locations soon!
The Covington guac is a must-try when visiting Hab's....the guac/ pineapple/ bacon/ pork rinds combo is unlike anything I've ever had! Pair that with one of their tasty margs & you've got yourself a real treat! Loved the ambiance & outdoor seating as well!
Like Taco Bell but better. And with adult beverages. Service was quick and seating was also pretty quick. Habaneros has several locations in the area and each do a great job on quality and presentation.
Excellent service and food was definitely delicious I’m Latin so the taste was absolutely fantastic. Server David made the night, excellent recommendations
We enjoyed bean dip and salsa with chips as a presentation. Enjoyed red snapper taco which is not photographed. Nachos with steak was very good.
I travel a lot all around the world. I cook gourmet at home. I love all kinds of Mexican food. This place has a cool cool vibe. The beans are the litmus test. I ordered Chili’s Toreadors. Fresh Picante and good. Great club music too.
Love love love the decor in this place! The outside seating is fabulous I really loved the setting here inside and out! This place is clean,I constantly saw staff cleaning and sweeting after every table left. Service was good and food was great. The shredded chicken was so delicious kids enjoyed as well as I did. We look forward to returning
Came on a recommendation of a friend. My server Armando was awesome, he was very timely and polite. I ordered the Ceviche, De Mole, and a Smoked Margarita. All of the food was awesome, ceviche was a good mix of flavors. Some of the items are a little on the slightly expensive side but they are worth it and you can get some of the cheaper options if you are looking for budget friendly. All in all, would definitely recommend. Update 11/3 Got the Fajita Trio this time as well as the Covington Guacamole. Both were excellent. Service was just as good as the last time. Weather was great so we sat outside.
Edit for Owner: I called on Sunday, Oct 2 at 4:29 PM, my number ends in 4557. The person I talked to on the phone said they wrote it down when they were saying they would follow up. I really just wanted assurance that this would be reviewed with staff to not happen again, I’m not looking for compensation. I feel like my concerns and illness were completely dismissed when I called to let the owner know what happened. ————————— I had the Prestige tacos this past Saturday. I ordered them on corn tortillas. I was sitting outside in the dark, and didn’t realize these seemed to be flour tortillas instead. I ordered corn tortillas because I am allergic to barley… and barley is often in American flour tortillas. I spent Saturday night sick as a dog hugging my toilet throwing up, a common allergy response I get when I accidentally eat barley. I had rashes on my hands. I had to have eaten A LOT of it for it to be this severe, as in it wasn’t just a light contamination - I ate a LOT of something with A LOT of barley in it. The tortillas are the only culprit. I called and told the restaurant owner what happened and he vehemently denied it was in anyway possible for me to have been served flour tortillas without explicitly requesting it. He was heavily implying I was lying. He said he would check the kitchen and follow up with me on what happened on Monday - he did not. I guess I’ll just humor him then, and we can just call it SEVERE FOOD POISONING. Either way, since I was not taken seriously I’m not coming back. It’s a shame because this was hands down my favorite restaurant since moving here but that was a really rough Saturday night and I am not doing that again.
If you luv tacos stuffed with not the normal ingredients, you will want to check this place out! Huge patio area, awesome bar area, and polite staff! The menu has over 15 taco options and other appetizers/entrees. I chose the grilled snapper tacos with a side of black beans and guacamole. BEST tasting fish tacos in Covington!!! I was halfway thru the tacos before I remembered I didn’t take a picture! So my pic does not do justice. Selected the skinny margarita, delish!! All I can say is this food is fresh, tasty, and worth the money!
