First Class Operation! My wife and I recently had the opportunity to tour the Hagyard Equine Medical Facility, what a show place. We were able to view a leg surgery up close and personal and speak to the Veterinarian as he performed the surgery. Take the time and tour this facility, it's an eye opener to modern equine medicine. Thank you HAGYARD for allowing us the tour your facility.

I watched surgery being performed on a horses leg via a monitor!! I was amazed and as an animal lover and owning 3 horses of my own, I wanted to apply for a nursing position as I had performed side by side with other drs. What better way of being a nurse combining it with love of horses!! Unfortunately my husband and I separated & my dream did not come to fruition. I did the next best thing, I moved to Montana. But not having that opportunity will haunt me til the end of time!

Your back yard horse will get the same thoughtful, research-based, thorough and complete care that a million dollar racehorse gets from the vets at Hagyard.  They've even phoned me back when debating whether I should attempt to bring an elderly gelding down for treatment, offering suggestions I could do at home to make him more comfortable.
