It's not as expensive as I thought, given inflation has racked up prices. Our group spent $43/person and there was a lot of food, we even had 3 extra containers to bring home. Great services, very nice servers. No hand massage service at this location though. They gave me a free dancing noodle as a birthday gift. The noodle maker/dancer put on a great show, we enjoyed it. There are bags for masks, and aprons to wear. We ordered 3 soup broth flavors, which is plenty for 5 people. One of them is vegetarian. In fact they have quite a few available vegetarian broth options and many vegetarian ingredients. When they brought the pot out, they even asked me my preferred orientation. Will be back.
This is probably my new favorite hot pot. And that's really saying a lot considering how many we've been to. Haidilao is certainly more expensive than some others, not as expensive as the super posh HP, what sets them apart are all the small things that add up to an amazing experience and value. Our server Rachel was the most wonderful blend of attentive, polite, informative, helpful, funny, and at the same time not overbearing. When we ordered spicy and mushroom broth she brought out extra bowls and dished some scallion and Cilantro then spooned a bit of mushroom over it for each of us as a drinkable soup, our friend was waiting a few minutes for us so Rachel server brought orange slices and prawn crackers. And was constantly bussing empty plates, cleaning surfaces, adjusting boil temp to be perfect. The sauce bar had all the ingredients you could possibly want, the spicy broth had exactly the right heat level and touch of numbing peppercorns, just enough to experience it but not overtake the flavor. The mushroom broth had great savory and earthy yet clean flavor. And of course the meat and vegetables were all delicious.
It was a great experience. We heard it's always busy so we didn't even bother to try. But we saw an open reservation, so we booked it. Glad we did because when we got there at 9PM it's still super busy. The food was delicious, broths are flavorful. The sauce bar is a bit small, since it's so much option and so many people, it's tough to take your time at the sauce bar. That's probably my only down side of this place. Beside that our service was great, since we got our table after 9pm, our server gave 20% off for all of the dishes we ordered, so that was a plus for us.
I always have a great time when I come here, especially watching the noodle dance! It's very easy to get a reservation online and the staff is super welcoming and attentive. You order on an ipad which helps the food come out quickly. I recommend coming here with a larger group so you can try more options because they give a LOT of food. I was most pleasantly surprised by the skewers which have cilantro and peppers rolled into them. Their sauce bar is also fantastic and you can create awesome sauces to go with your meat. Easy parking in the garage in the basement which costs ~$10 for 2 hours.
I often come here with friends and having party dinner, even though we have big group but service is always fast and nice. I remember Zoe took care of us and she is really nice and help us cook the shrimp paste and always remind us the best cooking time for each dish. Also this is my first time seeing serving robot, it’s so lit. Also I think the overall food, ingredients, and sauce bar are the best around here
My new favorite hot pot place! As others have mentioned, this place is super clean & service is fantastic. It’s a little bit pricey but I don’t mind to pay a little more for service and an experience. The presentation of the food was amazing and I loved seeing the dancing noodle performance. The waitress, Rachel, was really good at explaining everything as it was my first time although it was a little hard to hear over the noise of other guests. She was very friendly & attentively. The broth was flavorful and the spicy soup had a very satisfying numbness and flavor. Will definitely be back with my family
They check vaccination card carefully, and it makes me feel more safety while I’m having dinner there. Tom Yum base now is my new favorite! I think their Tom Yum is better than some Thai restaurants. The server Jay Y is friendly and professional! Made our day!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: YesCurbside pickup: No
I think this has been one of my best dinner experience ever. The food was authentic Chinese, and the service was just incredible. We had 4 different soups with bamboo fungus, dumplings, tripes, and beef. All exquisite! Hannah patiently explained everything to us and she even prepared her favorite dipping sauces for us. Steelo, at the entrance, was so welcoming and also very proud to talk to us about traditional snacks they offered at the door. A little expensive, but we paid gladly.
Our host Cynthia really took care of us! She came around very often to clear empty plates and bring food. I really like the food here compared to other hotpot places around here. It has the best black tripes, and the best beef aorta. The duck blood here is amazing as well! After having all of these amazing food options, being able to drink a cup of the soup really helps to close out the meal!
Good hot pot experience and worth a try. It has similar qualities to the original ones in Beijing but the fresh noodles are a bit different thinner and smaller portion. The noodle show was decent and it does not touch the floor when he tosses/stretches it around. Unlimited sauces, desserts/ice cream, and snacks. Also provided aprons, hair ties, and cell phone bags; additional amenities in the bathrooms. They had a few auto-bots to help with service. Pretty clean location. Good selection of broths and ingredients to chose from, standard portions. Best dining option for groups.
