Second time here! First time I ordered take out and it was tightly packed in a cardboard box with tin foil container inside. It didn’t even spill after I accidentally dropped it!  Second time here is dine in. I enjoyed the atmosphere and received friendly service. Four star because the food is a bit pricy for what you get. More worth it to dine in because of the cool pot.

First time trying simmer pot and it was freaking amazing. We got the all beef pot. They say it’s for 2, but I think you can comfortably feed 4. Can’t wait to go back :

Very delicious! Portion is large! I ordered a pick up order and chose pork belly, pork rib, and beef ball. The pork rib is a little bit hard to chew. I put it in the oven for another 20 minutes. Yummy!

The food here is delicious but lack of sanitation, because after our meal we found a strand of hair under the cooking spoon. It looks really disgusting!

This is a review for take out. Simmer Huang was a very famous restaurant chain in China, however, I hadn’t tried Simmer Huang until recently. It didn’t let me down. First of all, the food was well packed, which was highly appreciated during this covid season. Secondly, the combo comes with a various selection of ingredients, which were relatively fresh and well seasoned. However I do think they could do better processing the beef cubes, as they had some unusual smell to me. Thirdly, the sauce might be the key of all the dishes in Simmer Huang. It was delicious. But the difference between different kinds of sauces are not noticeable.

The pot is really tasty. I enjoyed the meal with my wife at home. This is my second time order it and I chose to pick it up in store after my grocery shopping in the Asian market which is in the same mall. $3 off for reusing the very nice-looking package. My wife actually uses the package bag for grocery shopping too.

Best takeout packing ever.  Update 8/24/2022: They changed to worst packing style, I just scheduled detail job for my car.

I like the favor. I thought the portion is a bit small for the price. Attentive service.

This is a great Chinese restaurant.  The food is really delicious.  We ordered the simmer pot with beef, chicken, shrimp and vegetables.  Everything is cooked at the table on an induction oven. After cooking they add the sauce of your choice and we could not believe tasty it was. Definitely a place worth visiting again and again. Wish we knew about this place earlier.
