Lovely place. I feel comfortable going here to get my braids done. I don’t lose my edges after taking my braids down. Miss Jean is always so pleasant and easy going. Everyone at the shop is amazing, but I have only let Miss Jean and Nicki braid my hair.

My daughter and I got our hair today at Hair Elation and the owner (Jean) took care of me and my daughter. My daughter had school pictures on Friday, do I wanted to get her hair done at least 24 hours to endure the pain. My daughter looks great and it didn't take up alot of time as the other Braiding Salons. Everyone is nice, understanding, talkative, and actually listened to you and laugh with you especially when watching the TV. I had a good time and it was do worth it to me so Thank You!!! 💖

I had an appointment and cancelled because the weather was terrible. I reschedule for sometime the following week. The next day from when I originally called, I called back because I was actually able to come in sooner than the following week so I called to she if she could fit me in and she did just that and was so kind about it. She thanked me for communicating with her and not just choosing to NOT show up. She also treated me with such respect after cancelling at such short notice and then looking to reschedule at such a short notice. I will be going back..I was very pleased with the service and the professionalism that was demonstrated in that circumstance.

I went to the salon a little skeptical after reading the two previous reviews, but I walked in and immediately the owner (Jean) gave me some fruit and a small T-Shirt. My hair took half the time than I was anticipating and what it has taken me at other salons. It was also painless, and we had some very nice conversations. I am a young college student and would definitly recommend this salon to others who want good and courteous service.
I would, however, suggest calling to make an appointment rather than just walking in.
