I originally called them in June to ask if they participate in Locks of Love. I was then giving a manager to speak to. She explained they no longer partner w Locks of Love 😢. But they do partner w another program, Wigs For Kids, I think. And that the hair to be cut would be braided and had to a total 10 inches-AT LEAST. AND it could be dyed. Just not over processed and in bad condition. I was unable to go in June. I just called them again today, and I want to donate my hair...and I want haircut, tomorrow being my birthday and all. Now, I just got off the phone and was told be a woman, whom sounded unconfident and not very very friendly when I explained my mission, and was told my piece of hair had to be 12 inches and virgin hair. I did dye my hair in late May, but only my roots. I could do 12 inches, but I wanna try 10. I've done this numerous times, and never spoke w stylist whom sounded down and a bit put off cuz they weren't going to get the full payment. This is a donation. Ofc, I am going to tip. Well, I was put off by the girls tone, I'll find a friendlier place.

I can not tell you how Happy I am to have found this salon.!! I was made to feel at home from the very moment I walked in. AND "walk in" is what I did. Thinking I would have to book later, I was pleasantly surprised that Rosa stepped right up , tho busy and said she would be happy to work me in. I worked as a Stylist and Salon owner for years and Rosa showed me the qualities I looked for in hiring stylists. She ask questions and listened to what I tried to convey to her about hair issues. She has an excellent knowledge when it comes to hair type and products and how they work. I walked out with just what I needed. THANK YOU ROSA and Hair Illusions. Lainey Moore

I have been going to Hair Illusions for months now and I absolutely love the beautiful work Rosa does! She is amazing and nice! I drive all the way from Modesto to get my hair done by Rosa- that says a lot!
