Wonderful hair salon! Great atmosphere, kind and knowledgeable staff. It was my first time and Naomi did a perfect relaxer, color and cut. The owner is a wonderful lady. And they use the amazing Aveda products. Definitely recommend and definitely going back!

This is my first time writing a review. I honestly wish I could give this salon a 0. I kept this to myself cause I didn’t want to think bad about myself. But I feel like saying something now due to the process I am and have been going through due to this salon.I came here in May, it’s been 7 months now. I just really have to say something, cause what was done to me was not right. So to my horror story, I had literally just payed like 260 for my hair...I had to be happy with it right? WELL!!! Let me tell you, I believe I went in for a girl named Jessica. Super nice, and all. I went in to get a retouch on my highlights that she did for me in the first place!!! and she suggests me to go all blonde. I was like sure, but when it was done...it was orange!!! Everyone in the salon was like “wow, looks good” but I WAS NOT HAPPY!!! I told her I wasn’t, and that It doesn’t look right, she told me that with a couple washes my hair should look better. They close at 8, and I was there maybe I’ll 8:30, so I believe she was in a hurry. I didn’t feel she really cared about what I wanted, I believe she wanted to get done with my hair as soon as she can. I haven’t gone back. But my hairs now fried, I had to go black to camouflage all my hair, I went to this other salon to get a haircut and they said I should’ve called and got my money back or something, but I didn’t even know it was THAT bad!!!! Till I went to go get a haircut, they told me that my hair needed to get toned, that she shouldn’t have let me walk out the salon like that, I have pictures, my hair was sooooo orange. My natural curly hair is now gone, i still have that stringy feeling in my hair. I’m soooo sad, I cried, my hair IS STILL fried and In the process of growing back, I had to go short on my hair as well. I do have pictures. But I will never be going back to this place again. Good with costumer service, but to let me walk out with the hair I had is just soooo rude.

In a great area, downtown Litchfield Park and Wigwam area. Initial should and head massage, then a hand/forearm massage at the end. Relaxing place with great staff. I have been going to Jessica since I moved here 3 years ago.

Haircutters is in a beautiful building, just down the road from the Wigwam. It's located in a great area, nice quiet streets, but close to the 10 Freeway and Indian School. There are cafe's around the corner for a bite to eat before or after your appointment. I recently moved to the area and was trying to find an upscale professional salon and heard about Haircutters from a friend. I have been going to Aveda salons for years and was happy to find Haircutters uses and sells Aveda products. I looked at their reviews and bios online and picked a stylist. I've been here twice now. They offer many products and services, not just hair. They offer waxing and facials and massages. They have a nail salon. I was very happy with my cut and color, my stylist listened to what I wanted and needed. I received a hot towel on my hair during conditioning, and a hand massage. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I was taken aback by some gossiping that I heard the first time I was here, and just thought that it was young and untrained staff that just hadn't learned professionalism. Unfortunately I encountered it again from experienced staff that should know better. Talking about Clients and Staff in an unflattering way behind their back and after they have left is not something I want to hear, it made me uncomfortable. My stylist rushed through my appointment when she was busy talking to another member of the staff. Unfortunately I won't be back - this just wasn't the place for me.
