. The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous. It is a pet friendly business provided your pet is leashed. I have to admit though that the staff knows my cat's name better than they know mine. They gush when Bilbo makes his entrance and he finds a convenient shelf to park himself in front of while watching shoppers Meander around him. They have an excellent selection of books including many older volumes. They hold true to their name Half Price Books as all paperbacks are at least half price off.

This is not a library, I repeat… if you browse and read, you should buy. It’s a bargain! Don’t be ‘that guy’.
Admittedly, I have spent countless hours, browsing and getting lost in everything they have. It gives me that ‘Belle’ during the first scene of “Beauty and the Beast” feeling. The selection is outstanding and the staff is knowledgeable and always friendly. Before getting lost in the Amazon world, or a big box bookstore, check this place out! I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Also, if you see me sitting on the floor trying to determine which of the 10 books I have surrounding to buy, help an indecisive guy out!

I don't know why anyone would buy books elsewhere. Their Clearance section is my go to for just about any down time. You can leave with 20 books and spend less than $50.00. Great way to find new reads. If hunting for a familiar title, they are happy to try to find it in store. If not in store, they are quick to offer multiple ways of obtaining said book- they really want to put literature in your hands. Great book store. Thanks for keeping reading alive and offering such a stellar used collection.

As good as a second hand book store can be. This free standing building is comparable in size and selection to any name brand bookstore. Excellent vinyl records collection as well.
