Just went in there to look for some books, (duh) couldn't find what I was looking for. So, I asked this young girl with blonde hair working behind the counter if they could look up books. She responds with , " excuse me I'm counting". At that point I was done. Bought the stuff my fiance wanted and left. The guy who rang us up, white guy with brown hair and beard, wouldn't even talk to us. Tried to say have a nice day, and thank you, and he said nothing. Looked right into my eyes. These people should be fired. Bad for business.

I love this place ever time I need to find a book I go here they come always have what book I would like to read. They have children books and young adult books.

I believe of all the HPBs I've been to over the past 15 years, somewhere between 7-8 different locations, that this store is the best of them all. And yes, that includes the mega store off NW Hwy. The Mesquite location is very well kept, easy to navigate, clean and organized, but best of all, they have the most polite employees who will go above and beyond to help a customer. Excellent Customer Service! #1 HPB in DFW!

I have always had good luck with selling my books at this location, as well as CD's and DVD's. Last time my wife and I took in 6 huge sack of books, many hardbacks and new best sellers, and we got $22. Together they would have easily made several thousand dollars if sold for half-price at the store. He spent 15 minutes looking at them. I estimated that I got about 1cent per book. That's a shameful lack of appreciation of their buyers.

I was trying to sell a great collection of Stephen King books plus other great authors and I was only offered $25! But not only that the 2 people at the back were extremely rude. Not going to this HPB anymore!
