This is a review from Tammy H: This salon is clean, relaxed, and everyone is very nice. Elizabeth is amazing with colors and cuts. I am totally impressed! Not only is she talented, she is also personable and patient. We are new to Oro Valley from out of state. I was leery of trying another new stylist due to past disappointing experiences at other salons. Elizabeth understood the style and colors I was trying to achieve. She has another loyal client :-)

Moved across country & was scared to get cut and color in new area! Demi is amazing, she colored and cut my long curly hair fantastically. Salon is clean, comfortable and welcoming. Thanks Demi, 1st time out and I have a hair expert!

I love how Elizabeth does my hair. She's always makes sure I am comfortable. She even gives me a quick scalp massage when she washes my hair.

Love love love this place! Always greeted with genuine smiley faces. Always clean and talk about a coffee bar. I feel so spoiled at Halo. Briana does my hair and I will never cheat on her! I simply can't because I'd never get the same results. I have thick hair that is hard to cut and color that fades to golden. Briana knows exactly how to fix me up every time even when it's been months since I have been in.  Got in and have this experience...honestly all of the ladies are extremely talented!

I rec'd a $100 gift certificate from a friend and had originally called the business and asked if there was an expiration and  told absolutely not.   I went about 13 months after the issue date of the certificate for a salon service and my gift certificate (which also did not list any expiration date) was refused.  The cashier went to the back to talk to the owner who would not budge.  The entire $100 gift certificate was kept by this owner for no services rendered and I was told that I should know that 'all spas' have an unwritten one year expiration on their gift certificates.    So, I was one month late and was told I should have known that's standard with all salons.   I didn't make a big deal and paid for services, but honestly, I've been going to a higher class salon/spa chain which has no expiration on their gift certificates.  The higher class salon realizes it's cash that was paid and if a gift recipient waits a couple or more years to redeem the gift certificate the value of the certificate is treated at the value purchased.    This first and only experience at Halo Hair Studio is very telling about the owner and her customer service not to honor something that was already paid in full; therefore, not only will I never return but anyone considering the place I share my experience.    

I would suggest if anyone is considering gifting a friend with a gift certificate to call around and you will find other's do not have an expiration date as this place seems to believe.
