I ended up finding this park just as the leaves were changing color. It was gorgeous.

It is small, but if you explore all of the trails you will end up walking a few miles. Definitely a nice little place to go to for a picnic or to just get out of the house. Also, there are benches in a shelter by the entrance and along some of the trails. There is also a secluded shelter back near the middle of the longest trail loop. Both of the shelters can be reserved.

Wonderful family park that includes 2 catch and release ponds for fishermen, flush toilets in the summer,  a fantastic pavilion in the front,  and 4 well marked, well kept up walking paths that wind through a small woods.

Nicely managed nature resource. Trails bring me back to the time. I was wondering in woods and birds singing in the background.  Green grasses filled out the space. Mushroom and wood ears popped out. Bright yellow wildflowers, purple bells, and cattail seem familiar to me.
