We went shopping here a few times during our stay at Acadia and the staff were always friendly and the selection of foods was great.

Purchased groceries at Bar Harbor Hannaford for a 4 night trip to Baxter State Park. Found everything I needed with the assistance of their great staff. I would shop here on a regular basis but at 1300 miles round trip it is simply too far. Damn!

Not a big market, but pretty well stocked. We stop here on our first day in Bar Harbor to stock up for the week and always find just what we need. We might expect the prices to be high to take advantage of tourists and the general lack of competition, but just the opposite. We find many items priced lower than at our big markets back in Virginia. Friendly staff, good selection.

Great supermarket. Clean and mostly fresh produce. This is the closest thing to Publix in the northeast. Can be a little expensive is. Certain towns like Bar Harbor where selection and competition is limited.
