Every time we visit the store we face rude and careless personnel. If you have relevant questions about produce, no one from the staff can answer your question. They are either pretend busy and look at you with a surprise face. A lady at the customer service desk is so rude that we can't comprehend how such people can be hired to work with customers. The store's promotions do not make any sense - they overprice their products first, and then make it look like it is on sale. Labels on cheese are misleading and you have to deal with the price mess for hours. I don't recommend this store.

Great store, I shop here regularly. Produce is excellent, every department excels. Weekly sales are a joy with already low prices. Everything you need. Exceptionally congenial employees, very helpful! Great selection of healthier options and their generic brand is often times healthier than name brand.

Ordered 15 lbs of Boston butt last Saturday for a pulled pork slider party. The butcher (youngest butcher there, and absolutely adorable) trimmed and tied both roasts perfectly. Great party, thanks to this young man and hannaford/Ellsworth. Butcher dept rocks.

Hannaford is my very favorite supermarket to shop at. Good produce and natural foods. Helpful, friendly employees.
