Hello!  I just wanted to say that I grocery shop at your Scarborough store all the time and wanted to let you know that one of your employees “Bob” who works in the Produce Department was very helpful to me the other day!  I was trying to decide which type of lettuce to use because there are so many varieties and he happened to be where I was, working hard stocking vegetables on the shelf.  He asked me if I had some questions about the lettuce varieties in which I did.  He was friendly and very knowledgeable in helping me decide my selection.  It was nice to have this employee of yours to take the time and ask.

I worked here years ago! This store cont inues customer friendliness. My friend was still in the bakery after 15 years! My manager and I got hurt working there. We worked hard. Lots in this store. You could get a cake with black frosting! Produce is presented well. I walked my dog in the parking lot during the snow storm.

*UPDATE* The customer service at this store remains below average and is a direct reflection of the customer service manager. Not impressed. I'll be glad when Market Basket opens up. In the meantime I'll continue to shop at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods.

The deli is not good. I wanted some soup the other day at about 5:30 in the evening. Two of the four soup vessels were empty and the other two looked like they had been there all day. On the way out I mentioned it to the service desk and they were kind enough to offer me a prepackaged bowl of soup, free of charge. That was nice of them, right? So, I brought it home and heated it up to discover it was not the clam chowder I chose but it was corn chowder and was labeled wrong. Meh.

I enjoy their fruit section. 4 stars because they don't allow normal dogs inside to walk around. But overall store has it all you can really thrive in this store.

Parking lot is over flowing, was so by 10:45 Am or so - storm started and Christmas coming. Don't park in back of the store. They announced that anyone parked there had to mo've for delivery trucks. Inside, busy, but staff helpful and putting on cheerful faces. Good senses of humor on display by staff.
