The staff is great and my dog loves the time spent here. They have three open sections for the dogs. One for smaller dogs, one for the larger dogs, and one they seem to use when a dog either gets overwhelmed or needs some time to adjust. The rear of the building is for boarded pets, which get regular play times with the daily visitors. From the very first time I took my dog, the staff have been completely awesome. The very first day they initially put him in the"adjustment" section, then slowly introduced other dogs while letting my dog adjust and build his confidence before finally moving him over to join the entire group. I simply can't recommend this place enough.

I had actually never heard of Happy Hound Dog Resort. I had called around to five other places. Due to this being the Memorial holiday, everyone was booked except one other place. I called first and spoke with Brian who made me feel so welcomed to visit. I stopped in a few minutes later and was quite impressed! Besides the fact that the entire staff has OUTSTANDING customer service, the entire setup is GREAT! It's like a daycare facility for dogs! You can see your dog running around having fun! You can tell that the staff wants you to be comfortable with leaving your pet and you can see a genuine care and concern from each one of them! I REALLY like this place and plan to return MANY, MANY more times! Kudos to Happy Hound Dog Resorts!!!!!! See you again soon!

We are a family with 3 furbabies new to the area having moved from the midwest. Soon following the move we had a week vacation for a family reunion that we could not take the dogs to. With all the craziness of the move for the humans, there was also some stress about the move for the pups ... they barely let us out of their sight! We were so grateful to find Happy Hounds! They clearly were very happy, running around all day, meeting new friends, staying in a room together (not a kennel!), and lots of people who knew them by name and each of their personalities as well! Who could ask for more? Happy Hounds, you are all the BEST!!!

When I moved to the area I was looking for a reliable, safe and trust worthy place to board my dog Quincy. I found Happy Hounds. I not only can I use them to board Quincy, but he comes to play at daycare weekly and loves playing and interacting with the other dogs and humans alike. I don't feel any anxiety leaving him for the day or when boarding. Being able to personally check on him via the web camera is fantastic. Stop by and check out the facilities, talk with the knowledgeable staff and trainers.
