Shopping here for years, everything is made in China and the quality isn't as good as the name brands but it's super cheap. Any hand tool that breaks they will replace and they offer a warranty on their power tools. Great way to learn a new craft since you can get what you need for woodworking, welding, plumbing, you name it, at a fraction of the cost. Once you know what you're doing and what you really need, then you can get the good stuff somewhere else. Always use the online coupons and save even more.

Four stars because they are great at what they do.  They offer a lower cost alternative to the much pricier name brands.  They have a large selection in clean organized stores.  I've bought drills, small hand grinders, bolt extractors, drill bits, socket sets etc. and so far I haven't been disappointed.  Last week I needed to help a friend cover a leaky 47 by 20 foot mobil home roof and the tarps at Harbor Freight Tools were less than half the price of the big box home improvement store.  Last night I needed to get some diamond knife sharpeners and got there right at closing but I wasn't rushed.  I held back a star only because I think the checkout line system could be improved but that's not really a big deal once you know how it works.
