We love Harbor House Cafe. A great staff. They are very kind and friendly. The food is out of this world. Not salty, just really good freshly prepared food. I really love their corned beef hash; its the best I've had in SD county. It's real brisket! The sauteed spinach is just real spinach and perfectly cooked!

Maybe one of the worst breakfasts I’ve ever ordered at a diner. The cinnamon bun we ordered was microwaved too long and was literally impossible to cut in some spots because it had become rubbery and hard with icing that had totally separated into pools of butter. The burrito was served with ranchero sauce that tasted and looked like marinara sauce and had a side of canned beans topped with cheese. Omelet over cooked until the eggs burned. If it wasn’t overcooked it was plain bland. The waitress was cool though.

Food was great!  I really enjoyed the fish and chips and my husband also like his biscuits and gravy.  My meal came with a side of the pineapple coleslaw and I'm so glad it did.  What an unexpectedly nice combination.  It took a little longer than expected to be seated and then waited on, but after that wait our server and the service were great.  While eating a noticed three ladies come in.  They waited to be seated, but no one even greeted them and after a few minutes they left.  Had it not been for this I would have given 5 stars.

Great family owned local business. This is our go to spot for out of town guests. The staff is almost always really friendly and always accommodating. They have a great menu, but the specials board is the way to go.

For breakfast and lunch this is a great choice. They aren't open for dinner but if they were, I'm sure it would be good for that too. They have a huge selection of choices on their menu and everything is delicious. The staff are all friendly and helpful. This is one of our local favorites for a casual morning or midday outing!
