We have great, knowledgeable staff to help you get your projects done right. We offer great prices on some larger ticket items as well like appliances, mattresses, carpet, and wood stoves. The ladies were very helpful and friendly. I went in looking for clothes hangers. Nothing fancy, just regular old plastic hangers. Imagine my surprise when they rang up $15. For less than a dozen. I commented I hoped they were making at least a union wage, and she said, "well, inflation.". Umm no. The proper term is price gouging. Shame on the owner for obviously not paying a living wage and using covid as an excuse to be absolutely greedy, and line his pockets. Oh, I also bought a small spray bottle for $5. Does not work, but came with a free bug on the inside of it. Bonus. I went down the road and bought a dozen hangers, laundry basket and a candle for $5. I guess "inflation" doesn't go on that side of the street.
On doing home projects I usually need a part or tool and everyone at the store is always so helpful. I like shopping there as the staff has suggestions to help me do my little projects better.
Great small town service and they have always had what I needed
You won't shop here for the prices - as the only place for 30 miles, you're here because you don't want to drive to Helena or Butte. That said - the prices are not exorbitant - higher than the box stores - yes... But fair for saving you the drive. The help is always knowledgeable and friendly and if they can't answer a question, will generally find someone who can. The store is surprisingly well stocked for a small-town small hardware store. The location is easy to get to and parking easy to get. Definitely an asset for Boulder.

Awesome small town hardware store but prices a bit high. But commuting to Helena for just a couple of items is not a savings.
