I would have rated them a zero except you have to give at least one star. I discovered effluent flowing into the crawl space under my house. Had ServiceMaster come and clean it out so I could have a plumber come in. I needed the job done asap. The first company I called which had been recommended said they could do it in two days. I explained that I was hoping to have someone come sooner and contacted Hardy. At first Hardy said they could not do the job for 4 days so I explain to them that I was going to go with another company and was asked to hold. Then they represented to me that they could come the next day so I asked them to. I sent them pictures and detailed measurements. The next afternoon they did a "diagnosis" and described in some length how the entire line would need to be replaced due to a crack in the sewer line that ran under my house. For this they charged me $82 and said they would be back in a few days to do the work explaining that they needed to make a materials list and purchase everything they would need. A plumbing company that does not keep 4 inch PVC in stock? This was a bait-and-switch and I would have gone with the first recommended company had I known they were going to make me wait indefinitely. They wouldn't even tell us when they were going to come back to do the work. 
Subsequently I went into the crawlspace and examined the line myself. The line was perfectly intact and was not damaged in any way. The effluent was coming from an overflow pipe directly above the main line that they claimed was cracked and needed to be replaced. Obviously their "expert diagnosis" was completed without ever actually looking at the line. They were prepared to tear out a perfectly good sewer line and charge me for it. I had not heard good things about them and everything I was told was true. Incompetence is one thing but dishonesty is quite another. Save your money and hire a REAL plumbing company.

Morons. After hearing the ads on the radio, I called Hardy in East Hampton. I'm sure Mr. Hardy made a lot of money franchising the business but that bad part is his name is still on the company. I spent 10 mins on the phone explaining that I wanted to install an auto shut off valve to my mains  but the plumber I spoke with was either preoccupied with another activity while talking to me or is a moron. I had to give up when he asked me, after 10 mins, what it was I wanted. Good God!!!

Hardy replaced a kitchen faucet for me and about a month my basement was completely flooded.  They sent someone over who re-did the installation but refused to fix the damage caused by the leak from the original installation.  I sent photos repeatedly and called.  Nothing.  Ceiling ruined, floor ruined, furniture ruined, kitchen cabinet ruined, mildew all over and they have done nothing.

Hardy did Nail Salon at Southampton. 
it is a nightmare, store opened a couple week, flooded the whole floor, called them emergency in the morning, and show up later afternoon, since they didn't show, I had another plumber came, they checked and tell me hardy didn't put the check valve in, also the pump is too small. called my general contractor to contact them. they sent service guy here, and they are planning put a bigger pump in. it is a busy season for the our business, I really don't want anything happen to the store, the wood floor all buckled. I consult my attorney, I can sue General contractor to responsible for my damage. because I paid to my General contractor, he hired Hardy plumber. my attorney suggest me to sue both of them to small claim court, let them to determine who should pay my damage. also I can make a complaint to consumer Affair. I am taking a lots of pictures for evidence

Not reliable plumbing job they have been done on the commercial job. once the nail salon opened first day. it has a leak in the basement. also shut off next door's stores water supply. all the stores call the owner, What a MESS.  the company sent different workers each time, how do they know what last plumber did the work, bad communications skills and follow up job schedules.
Recently signed a contract with General contractor to do my nail salon in Hill st, Southampton. My GC did a couple of nail salon for me before. My GC hired  hardy plumbing to do my pedicure chairs. They are not reliable, many times they told my General contractor they will show up at the job second day, We drove there in the morning from Manhattan and we were waiting at the store, nobody show up. I call the GC, he call their office and he told me they canceled, because they have a couple workers called sick, once it is understandable, but it becomes all the time. They only show up a couple days a week. I went there everyday after work about 6pm. when I saw no work progress,  I call my GC again. I am so depressed. It is over 1 month already. I had 4 nail salons before. 6 pedicure chairs plus 1 hot water heat normally take 1 week to complete the roughing pluming work in the past nail salon that I owned. I was at store last Thursday to watch the Sheetrock contractor did the whole store, when I went there 2 days later on Saturday, hardy plumbing cut a few Sheetrock down because they didn't put the vent pipe and forgot to install one sink water line inside the wall,  how can this happen, my GC told me the rough inspection was passed 10days ago. My general contractor already delayed me due to hardy plumbings, I am paying expensive rental in a commercial space. I am very disappointed with my my GC's decision for choosing this plumbing contractor.  Very disappointed and stressed.

These guys pulled off a miracle!  Arrived out east to find my hot water heater was dead. These guys helped me source a replacement (warranty swap), picked it up and had it installed the same day.  Kenny from the main office was super understanding of my situation and did everything he could and installer Keith was professional, neat, and also very nice.   Highly recommend this company and would do business with them in the future for sure.  Thank you!
