The magistrates here are morons. Deputy Nicholas Kehagias murdered John Livingston a father of 3 in November 2015. The Grand Jury failed as expected. The DOJ MUST GET INVOLVED NOW and file murder charges against him. Deputy JC Knight is also a brutal cop, a bully with a badge. Both these cops have a history of violent behavior and abuse of authority. This entire Sheriff's Department and their District Attorney's office is notoriously corrupt, and routinely try to cover up their Deputy's criminal activity. Sheriff Larry Rollins is a coward, which is why he resigned in disgrace the day that the Harnett County District Attorney FINALLY after almost 5 months announced that Deputy Kehagias would go before a Grand Jury to face potential Second Degree Murder charges. The District Attorney Vernon Stewart waited so long to convene Grand Jury proceedings against Kehagias because he was hoping the people would forget so he could sweep this crime under the rug as he has so many other crimes committed by the Harnett County Sheriff's Department, and so he can present a poor case to the Grand Jury so Kehagias will not be indicted and can walk away free and get away with murder. This way the District Attorney Vernon Stewart can save face politically and say that it wasn't his fault that Kehagias wasn't charged it was the Grand Jury who didn't indict him. Anyone else would have already been charged with murder by the District Attorney and would already be in jail awaiting trial. There would be no Grand Jury proceedings for anyone else. Kehagias is receiving special treatment because he's one of their own, a cop. When Nicholas Kehagias murdered John Livingston it occurred at 3:30AM on November 15th 2015. Deputy Kehagias came to John Livingston's home looking for a suspect in an assault complaint who no longer lived at his residence. KEHAGIAS HAD THE WRONG HOUSE! John Livingston was an innocent man minding his own business in his home at 3:30AM. JOHN LIVINGSTON WAS NOT EVEN THE SUSPECT THAT DEPUTY KEHAGIAS WAS LOOKING FOR! Deputy Kehagias knocked on John Livingston's door and John Livingston just happened to be the unfortunate individual who answered the door. Kehagias asked Livingston if the suspect he was looking for was there. John Livingston told Deputy Kehagias that the individual no longer lived there. Deputy Kehagias asked if he could search the house for himself, KEEP IN MIND THAT HE DID NOT HAVE A WARRANT OF ANY KIND. John Livingston told him "no, not without a warrant", and shut the door in his face, WHICH WAS HIS CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT under the 4th Amendment. When John shut the door in his face this angered Deputy Kehagias so Kehagias then kicked in his door WITHOUT A WARRANT and began beating, tasing, and massing John Livingston repeatedly. According to multiple witnesses John Livingston DID NOT FIGHT OR RESIST AT ANY TIME. The Harnett County Sheriff's Deputies are known for doing this to people out of anger. Except in this case Deputy Nicholas Kehagias shot John Livingston dead. John Livingston DID NOT have a gun or any weapon of any kind, JOHN LIVINGSTON WAS UNARMED! While Deputy Kehagias was assaulting John Livingston at some point he pulled him outside of his house by his beard according to multiple witnesses and on to the deck of his home. John Livingston ended up down on the floor of his deck just outside his front door. Then Deputy Nicholas Kehagias shot John Livingston several times and John died at the scene. John Livingston was of ABSOLUTELY NO THREAT TO THE 2 DEPUTIES AT ANY TIME! Deputy Nicholas Kehagias shot John Livingston in cold blood out of pure anger in the heat of the moment, he had absolutely no legitimate reason to shoot and kill John Livingston. This could not possibly be a more clear case of murder and there were several witnesses. When dealing with the Harnett County Sheriff's Department the safest policy is if they knock on your door DO NOT ANSWER IT! DANGER!!! Pray for John Livingston's 3 kids and his family. The DOJ must take over this case NOW!
