Loved the atmosphere, really liked the piano player. It made you not want to leave. I give it a 5. Food was good, interesting, different. Not sure about the price. I give it a 3 1/2. Well worth tbe visit, but really pricey.  I would like to go again.

Empty tables everywhere, but they said they were all reserved so we sat in the bar. The patrons were pleasant in the bar and so was our server. That being said, I feel like we were ignored because our waiter kept socializing (for long periods of time) with the other patrons. This was frustrating as we waited about 45 minutes for food that was just warm, not hot. My husband had the ribeye, I had the filet. My steak had a good flavor, it was tender and cooked to my liking.  I ordered a loaded potato, which came plain. This could've been easily fixed however our server didn't circle back until the meal was nearly over.  Overall the meal was nearly $70 with no extras, just the meal. For the price, I expected a little more attention.

I recently went for a work gathering. We had an "airline" menu to choose from and mine was paid for by my employer. Anyone other than me was on my dime, no problem. My spouse wanted something off of the main menu but was told she had to pick from the "airline" menu which was a set $40 and it was cooked one way, medium. Nothing that I saw on the main menu was close to $40! So what we got came with a small salad, a steak and baked potato (butter and sour cream only), and a choice of two desserts. I am not a dessert person and notice there were not any vegetables with the steak and potato, who does that? Since it was a group, every bill had a mandatory gratuity of 22.5 percent, WOW! I ended up paying $75 on a meal I could have gotten at Cracker Barrel for 1/3 the price with a toy for my kid. And, one person in our party is a vegetarian and ordered only vegetables from the menu and was still charged $40. On the plus side, the wait staff was nice, the food was good, and the building is nice.

I found this place, when it was in Hopkinsville. Wonderful staff, food, atmosphere, and vibe. Now they are in Cadiz. It is a different vibe, and atmosphere. However, the food is still amazing! This is truly the only sit down, home cooking, restaurant in and around Ft Campbell. It would be great, if you developed one in Wisconsin,  where I will be returning next year after retirement. 

Hats off to the owners, for creating a wonderful place for my wife and I to enjoy a “non chain” restaurant. It also reminds us of home up in the deep woods of northern Wisconsin or Minnesota. Thank you!!!

My wife and I have eaten here a few dozen times, without a single complaint. Food is delicious, service is great, and the atmosphere is fantastic. We were worried about the move to Cadiz, but the drive is only nominally longer, and the completely different building is just as charming. We dream about the food (Shrimp and Grits are the best ever!), and choose the 45-minute drive every date night we get. Could not recommend more highly!
