Louisville's best seafood restaurant in my opinion. Indoor and outdoor dining. Great menu and service. Group seating and rooms available for large gatherings. A fish platter will feed two people if you order extra bread. The shrimp is unbelievable. Can be crowded, expect to wait but it is worth it.

This is been a great area Seafood restaurant I think it's been open longer than I've been alive and I'm retired. I've enjoyed their food every time I've eaten there. It still a quality restaurant, but it's an informal as they come and much of the crowd eat outside. This restaurant is right on the river so it is very pleasant to sit outside and enjoy the scenery.

Restaurant just reopened for the season and was packed with customers. The rain kept all customers inside, limiting the seating places available. We waited 45 minutes for a table of.six.
The portions of seafood are very large and they do fry their fish well. This is a comfort food setting. It's a family owned and run operation with a long continous history.

Rating this a 3 for my overall experience, not just one experience. Maybe it's just me, but this used to be a reasonably priced place to have a good dinner. Over the years the prices have increased drastically. However the food quality still remains good, with the exception of the frog legs. Not meaty and overcooked everytime I've ordered them. But once again, they still maintain a tasty fish dinner.

Best seafood in town! The portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. It has fine dining in doors with the waiters and waitresses. It also has casual eating indoors and Outdoors with picnic tables, a beer booth, and other alcoholic beverages. In the casual dining area there is enough paraphernalia on the wall to keep the conversation rolling about look at that and look at the head on that, and look at the size of that for hours.

This place is usually packed, but that's because of the good food and good service. Its been in business for more years than I can count. I believe over 50 years..

 There's usually some kind of event going on there, car shows, things to go along with the fair, their own activities and promotions. I can't speak highly enough of this place. If you haven't been there, put it on your bucket list.

If you don't know what you want or you can't make up your mind , I highly recommend the seafood platter, it has a little bit of everything on it from frog legs to scallops,fish, crab cakes, and more... My last suggestion is to get the onion rings....wow.
