I can’t speak on behalf of being a tenant however we were almost potential tenants. We signed the lease on a house and from the minute got  found the keys we found issue after issue but the big one was mold all through the kitchen cabinets. That was not fixable to us being we have two Little’s and my husband and dog are allergic to mold pretty bad. Tracey was a pleasure to work with. She was very kind from the start. As soon as my husband told her she no question let us out of the lease (we had signed the papers the day before) and all of our money was refunded. I appreciate Tracey’s kindness and her amazing response time.

Harrell Waco, TX, Very rude people and huge liars. There is no service responsibility at all. They left me alone with their hose problems. After few months I had a mice issue at their house and they didn’t take care of it. I had to pay out of my pocket for mice inspection and pest control treatment. Management told me that, before I moved in I saw their house and accepted as it is. So they didn’t took an action with my problems at all. How I may know in advance their house will have mice after few months???  Their houses are very old and not well maintained. AC is not cooling enough. AC works all day but still couldn’t go lower than 77 degree because of bad isolation. I had to pay lots of electric bills. I don’t even remember how many times I called them for reporting problems for the house that I am about to leave. Windows are too old and very difficult to close them. There is a not closing window with gap that I am not able to close it with man power. From that gap I can see outside. That is so sad! How ladies can close these hard windows? I pissed off to have so many times maintenance people at home. Having many times unknown strange maintenance people at home while I have a family with little kids. I am not even feeling safe. And I am trying not to call them if it’s not urgent issue. Having old ladies at front office with no respect and no business ethic. Talking rude to your face. Harrell should be out of business if they don’t change they behavior. I would say STAY AWAY FROM HARRELL.

Would not work with me about getting the apartment due to my credit. I have years of perfect renters history and can prove more than ample income yet they declined my application and won't allow a cosigner. So be careful people when trying to rent from this company

EDIT TO ADD, AGAIN* I checked my credit today and the did NOT use the $50 for an application, they SAT ON THE MONEY. So, I will be calling tomorrow to ask for my letter of denial to see if they in fact ran the app.

Denied my Husband and I based off credit, while we have ok credit.
They charge $50 for application fee which is the most I’ve heard of in Waco.
We went to look at the Depot apartments and they were old, run down, stairs were so steep that both my husband and myself fell down a few steps.
Be cautious of doing any business with this rental company!
EDIT to add***
They did NOT specify that each adult had to make 3+ times the rent. I’m a stay at home mom and when I called inquiring about the application what to put how much I make, she didn’t tell me that I had to have a job. So they basically stole my $50.

Dont understand a property mgmt. company not returning calls to someone thats looking for a place to live. Very unprofessional. If there not interested in helping you find a place how do you think they will treat you once they have you in a lease. WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS OUTFIT!!!!
