Other than the sometimes higher than other grocery store prices, Harris Teeter is a great place to shop. The selection is vast, the store is clean, and the employees are helpful. I was surprised and delighted the other night when my boyfriend had some trouble with a purchase due to the meal deal. One of the items ran out but they told us that we could replace it with a like item and still get the deal. When we were rung up, the employee did not handle it correctly so we were overcharged. We went right back inside to take care of it as soon as we realized, and instead of just adjusting the price, the employee comped the entire ticket price for all items, including some that were not a part of the deal. I was very impressed with the customer service, I have never heard of a store doing that before. I feel that Harris Teeter is a more high end grocery store and when I want a wide selection, that is where I go. One star off for the sometimes higher prices than Food Lion.
