The staff are friendly and place has a nice vibe. 
The cost of the food is really high and is pretty much the only store in all of Valley Center to get food. It's your only option and they know it. It's just a really big convenience store, not a grocery store. However, the meat selection is really good and the prices are actually very fair. The deli counter is probably the weakest point of the store where; the cheeses are like wax and are of poor quality. The vegetables AND fruits aren't always fresh but they usually are passable. They do have some good salsa and some other good homemade things. 
They also have a very sizable alcohol section.
If you are looking for a quick stop to fill in some holes and supplies, they have most everything. If you need groceries for your home, expect to spend a lot.

Expensive prices. Making people pay double the price, just so tgey dont have to jot 10 down the hill. Paying huge for convenience@

Convenient moderate sized rural grocery store. Excellent quality produce section. Very nice meat counter. Sundry items can be a little bit pricey but they are available
