Always a helpful staff. Service department always helpful. I have never had an issue with repairs or the folks there ordering parts for my equipment, some which is 20 years old. Buy and support local business.

Very poor customer service. My lawn mower sat for 4 weeks waiting for repairs. Fed up with the wait, I picked it up and they had not even looked at the mower. In that entire time my lawn mower sat outside exposed to the elements and was filthy. I specifically went here to spend money at a local business and in addition to my mower I also bought a new trimmer here at the same time, 2 years ago. The mower was taken elsewhere for repair and was returned within one day. I will no longer be a customer. I have since purchased a new mower, because I could not wait for them to repair my 2yr old Toro. My new mower was purchased at another local business that thankfully also services the Echo trimmer I got at Hastings so there is no reason to ever return. Called the store afterwards to express my dissatisfaction and they couldn't have cared less. Basically didn't want to hear what I had to say and rushed me off of the phone. Don't waste your time here.

Came in with a broken lawn mower handle. No exact replacement but the guy in hardware was super helpful in helping me find parts. Thanks Mike! Check this place out if you're in the North Side or North Hills and want a closer alternative you home depot.

One of my favorite places to shop for do-it-yourself projects. Outstanding service and advice. I really SO prefer them to the big chain stores.
