Hatcher construction does great work and they were very professional in my home. Their quality of work is outstanding! I have also referred them many times. I would definitely use him again for any of my remodeling needs in the future.

Unprofessional Jerk. My stomach is in knots as I write this. Hired Hatcher himself to do kitchen cabinet handle work; yes, just attach simple handles. I am disabled from the Gulf War, so easy, simple jobs, which is what this was, should be a breeze for a so-called general contractor, but it was a nightmare with an arrogant prick. Why did I hire a gc for such a minor job, because I wanted the job done right. As a permanent housebound vet, I am also in a position to enjoy, or not, my surroundings and therefore notice things that many folks who are away, such as a 9 to 5, would not. Hatcher promised that he would use TEMPLATES to ensure that each door and drawer would have uniform handles, but he did not use templates, and he also drilled through one door on the side with the hinges (door was attached, so how can one drill and destroy a door?), and upon completion of his disgraced work, Hatcher walked through our home and into our master bathroom to take a dump (not kidding!), as though he owned our home. My wife was absolutely horrified and disgusted at Hatcher, no less. The handles were also nearly all installed before I was physically able to look at them. It was then that I was shocked at the misalignments. Just shocked at such unprofessionalism. When I questioned Hatcher about him not having templates, he said that his work had never been complained about before. In other words, read between the lines, how dare me question Hatcher the divine. I showed him how the handles were crooked and misaligned, but he said it looked good to him. Now I plead with you the reviewer to put yourself in my position, the homeowner, the work sucks, you question the botched job, then the general contractor says that "It looks good to me." He looked, really hard stared at me as I was leaning on my walker, as though he wanted the several hundred dollars and how dare I, or it could have been you the reviewer or your mom, etc, question him. Needless to say, the handles and knobs were attached in elementary style and crooked. Yes, a general contractor was paid more only to mess up the installation of handles on some drawers and doors. Misaligned handles and knobs was one error, but Hatcher had drilled through the wrong side of one door and then also scratched the surface of another door with his drill, because the bit had skidded across the face of it. As I pressed the walker across the kitchen floor and then saw that door, I had had enough! So I had challenged Hatcher on what he promised but failed to deliver. Get ready for this: Hatcher then asked if he could do additional work, to which I was aghast. I highly encourage you as I admonish Hatcher, for there are too many professional, honest general contractors out there, AVOID HIM AND HIS MOST UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS.
