My husband and I have brought our cars to Hauck's for a number of years. Never again, if I could give them a negative review I would. They are completely unethical, too busy and could care less about the safety of their customers. 

In August I started hearing a noise from the right rear of my SUV. Since then it has been in their shop THREE times, and each time they said nothing was wrong. The noise has gotten progressively louder, the car shook at a high speeds and it was very scary, since our teenage daughter also uses the car. The last visit I heard my husband ask them to PLEASE take the car for a test drive. Again they told us nothing was wrong. 

In desperation I took it to another shop. The owner got down on the ground and immediately said the wheel bearing needed to be replaced. The bearing was so shot the wheel was loose. He told me it was unsafe to drive the car and fixed it the next day.

If you in any way value your safety and the ethics of a place you do business with, please don't consider going to Haucks.

My time with Hauck's garage this past year was one of the most unprofessional and unethical experiences I have ever had the misfortune of coming across. My 2001 Honda Civic was over 200k miles and was beginning to overheat. My father, who had previously done construction work for the Hauck business, insisted on taking my vehicle there since he swore by their work. After my first visit to Hauck's garage, I picked up my vehicle which proceeded to overheat the next day. And so began the cycle of dropping my car off at Hauck's, them "fixing it," me picking it up, and then having to take it back within the next 24-48 hours. Mind you, they would keep the car for a week or two at a time. The process began to get very frustrating especially considering the garage never gave me the courtesy of updating me, I always had to make the calls. This went on for several months and each time I inquired whether or not the car should be junked and I was informed it was fixed. There was even an instance where I needed a loaner car from the garage and they gave me a 1988 vehicle with a driver side door that did not open, a gas and brake pedal that would stick, and a speedometer that would spin in circles so I never knew exactly what speed I was going. After complaining about the loaner, I got some run around answer from one of their dolt mechanics that the car is fine and the other loaner is in use by the owner. So after racking up an egregious amount in bills this shoddy business, I figured I would stop making a fool out of myself and get rid of the vehicle. This company should be ashamed of themselves. They swindled me out of thousands and provided me with a customer service experience on par with Comcast. To Hauck's garage, I am not sure how you continue to operate and I do not know where these positive reviews are coming from. I will not hesitate to put this review anywhere that I can on the internet in an attempt to deter people from going to your corrupt "garage."
