Buyer beware!!! I had a horrible experience when I went to Haverty's to purchase a mattress. The sales person told me that if I didn't like the mattress, I had up to 120 days to exchange it. I agreed to buy the top of the line mattress from them. When we went to the counter to pay, they said I had to sign on the signature pad. I told the salesman that I didn't have my glasses and couldn't read it. He said "that's just what we talked about-- that you can exchange it if it's not comfortable." So, I signed it. My husband and I (barely) slept on it for two nights and both had back pain in the mornings. I drove to Haverty's to ask for an exchange (as I was promised) and was told that I needed to sleep on it for 30 days before they would honor an exchange. I explained to them that their salesman misinformed me and omitted the part about the 30 days. I would not have purchased the mattress had I known this! The Haverty's manager, customer service agent and customer service manager all stated that they would not honor the mattress exchange until I slept on the mattress for 30 days even though I was misinformed and misled by their salesman. They did not care. I left the store and contacted the credit card company. After explaining the problem to them, I purchased a mattress at Mattress Firm on Bryant Irvin Rd. They were very professional and accommodating. They delivered the next day and were only concerned with my comfort and exceptional customer service-- as it should be. Haverty's has lost my business! I have cancelled my credit card and have disputed the charges with Synchrony Bank. I will not do business with a company that misleads their customers just to make a sale.

Our experience at the store was great. We bought over 4500$ in furniture. However, the finish on the kitchen island we bought started peeling the second day we had it. This is an item made for a kitchen and if any water hits it the finish peels. I called customer service and they said it was somehow our fault that this was happening. They said we should not have let water touch the island..A KITCHEN ISLAND! They process of buying the furniture was great but if there is any problem they will not help you. We are still buying furniture for the rest of our house and we will never go back to Haverty's.

No one came to help us. There were several attendants standing around, just didnt seem interested in helping us.

Poor quality. Furniture just falls apart and the warranty company is a JOKE! We spent $3k on a couch that after less than two years looks like a 10 year old couch! Havertys is a horrible company. STAY AWAY!!!! SALES PEOPLE LIE ABOUT THE QUALITY AND HOW THEY WILL HELP IF YOU HAVE ISSUES.
