With a couple hours to kill before getting on a plane, we parked on N. Palm Canyon and dropped into Haya on a lark. Immediately I felt like I was in my house. Color. Art. Contemporary feel. Pop. Fun. I wanted almost everything. My eyes fell on a strangely shaped ottoman, exactly a half-moon. I needed one of those. Did I think I would ever find one? Knowing she couldn't possibly have one in the color I needed, I threw out the question to her. Yes, she did have one in orange at her home because there was a mark on it to be removed. It was closing time, Friday. Our plane left in 2 hours. We went to her home, the ottoman was perfect and I bought it. She discounted it for the mark. Somehow we found a box that fit it perfectly and got it onto the plane for $35. We giggled about this coup for the whole flight home. It is exactly what I needed in my living room, and I have it, thanks to her imagination and some good "luck."
