Mark Hayes' dedicated work allowed our tight schedule to be met. He was very upfront and honest. He said he would try his best. He explained all the steps. He came though and did it. Thanks to him our daughter's body didn't get stuck at the coroner's morgue. The first company we tried could not even tell us which day her body would be picked up. We wasted a couple of days with them before discovering they were located in Colorado and probably were "shopping" around for a crematorium. Thank you Mark for coming to our rescue.

This man and his compassion, kindness, information and overall professionalism is top notch. I cannot say enough about Mark Hayes, except that his office is a little hard to find not a huge sign outside his office look for the "H's" in the window. If you need anything for your loved ones passing, this is the place to go. He was patient, fulfilled our requests and went above and beyond!!! He walked us through the process, recommended places for catering, gave us some cherished mementos of my mom. He let us know when he picked up mom. When she was going to be cremated. He even gave us some live butterflies to release in honor of our mom. I told him I didn't want to cry, I wanted to celebrate her.... He made me cry. Thank you Mark for everything you do. Your compassion, dedication, honesty and professionalism was truly appreciated by our family. Thank you for everything!!!

I highly recommend the services Mark and his staff provided during one of life's most difficult times.  My brother lived in Colorado and Mark was able to recommended a funeral director out there to handle arrangements for my brother's return to Illinois.  From there, Mark's process was professional, thorough and compassionate. He made all of the arrangements for my brother, who was an Army veteran, to be buried in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery with full military honors.  At the end of the service, Mark personally saluted my brother for the last time.  Very touching.

When a bunch of seniors recommend a person, you tend to listen. When both my parents were diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, you can imagine my familys' state of mind.  God blessed us with Mark.  He guided us along the way and helped us with things that we did not even know that we needed.  He took a care of everything so that we could take care of ourselves and grieve in peace peace.

Hayes Funeral & Cremation Services managed my mother’s going home services and it was a pleasure to work with them. The process was completely managed by Hayes and they gave clear and concise instructions throughout the process. They gave great recommendations of options our family hadn’t thought about nor were we aware of. In the unfortunate event of another family death we’ll most certainly use them again.
