Used the be one of the best surgery’s, until they changed to this new system. There is absolutely zero information on how to book an appointment, there are three options to send requests but these options are always disabled as the surgery is apparently always full. I need a repeat prescription, again, no information on how to get repeat prescription, and the option to send a message is full. The old system is still in place, why not just revert back to it!
Contacted the practice after waiting an hour and half being 50 in the queue! For my 90 year old mom who needs her medication renewal as she has no items remaining! To be told No appointments She’s 90 has no access to the internet she’s got dementia coming and can’t really use the phone either at the moment. So goodness knows what she would do without anyone! No respect for the elderly, half soaked staff answering the calls! Needs medication this week but can’t get it!! Giving them a 1 is debatable
VERY UNHELPFUL Doctor never call you back and you never can get appointments when u want 1 we waited 2 weeks for a call from a Dr but never had 1 one of the WORST SURGERY SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN NO POINT HAVING IT WHEN U CAN'T SEE A DOCTOR PLUS STUPID APP THEY GOT IT VERY RUBBISH WHY HAVE APP WHEN U GOT SECRETARIES its been few weeks can not get appointment in 80s 2 doctor's use to see so many people a day and give good medicines and SECRETARIES use to answer calls. System is rubbish now should be getting better but it's getting worse day by day and I given 1 star for a JOKE IT A ZERO STAR 4 THEM
I don't know where to start. I am quite I.T. savvy but this new system has me beat. Went through a long list of questions. Told Doc would ring on a certain date. Phones me 4 days later and said she tried to ring me 3 times on original date. Why are there no missed calls on my phone then? Discuss 1 thing with her then told I have to book another appointment to discuss another problem!
Staff is polite and friendly. Anytime I have needed medical assistance for kids they have helped out promptly when walked in. New Anima system is RUBBISH because of it people blame staff working there. Been trying to get new sick note for 2 weeks as on online booking system it says its not available everytime I call I'm 60+ in line who got that kind of time to wait on phone.. in 1h I was down only my 29 people so 2h on phone.. prescription says requested but nothing at pharmacy. I think during Covid-19 we had better chance seeing doctor or speak to someone..
This GP surgery deserves 0 star review. Unable to book appointment for months. You call them and you’re 45th in a queue. You make request on their new ridiculous anima system and you get no response for weeks. You come into surgery and you get told there’s no appointment so come back tomorrow at 8. You come back at 8am the following day you get told you can’t make an appointment. The rude receptionist just tells you to move on because you’re blocking the queue.
Regis Medical Centre use to be one of the best practices in the area not anymore ! Always a long cue to try and get through on the telephone only to be told no appointments available, You use to be able to book online that seems no longer true. The new Anima system or what ever you call it is rubbish, you need more telephone lines and an easy online booking system you carn't keep blaming covid! Regis Medical Centre really needs to go back to booking appointments by telephone or back to their easy booking system !! I feel sorry for the elderly not everyone has a computer to try and book an appointment online which are very rarely available anyway!
Would give no stars if option. Very unprofessional reception staff not fit to work in surgery enviroment - Rude and unhelpful. Anima system does not work, only one or two people if any waiting in reception and for nurses not doctors-where are the doctors. Having wrote letter of complaint when handing in to reception stated they do not accept letters of complaint. When followed up having no response in 7 weeks told to change doctors by receptionist and even threatened in writing off karen holyoake to be removed from patient list for complaining all for not being able to recieve a service they should provide. It was a great service until covid arrived and still being used as an excuse on the bandwagon. They can not provide a service to existing patients yet taking more on. When attending a walk in centre as suggested by reception, walk in centre refered us back to own GP as ongoing health issue to be monitored however did state that doctors and surgerys need to start seeing their patients instead of sending elsewhere again however they did point out the doctors get paid for how many patients are on their books and not how many they se. Greed or laziness?
I have been with this practice from when I was born 70 yrs ago and it's getting worse. This new Anima Health system is rubbish. I went into the surgery on 23/9 to request a blood test be ordered and instead of it going through to a doctor it was put through Anima Health. A few days later I booked my blood test and when I got there the order hadn't gone through. A waste of my time and the lady who was going to do my test. I actually managed to speak to someone later and within 20mins I had an email to say the order had been sent electronically so I rebooked my blood test. The previous system wasn't perfect but much better than this new one. I can't see my records now or test results which I could before.
I have had a very strong flu for 3 weeks, fever, body aches, a lot of coughing and I call the Gpi every day and the only solution on the part of the Medical Center is to go to the pharmacy or call 111. I am completely disappointed with the your service because I was transferred to this medical center more than 4 years ago and until today I have never been able to see a doctor. The decay of our medical services in the UK is visible and shameful...it is regrettable that the world does not know about this
