If I could give them a zero I would. They did not treat my children fairly and their staff is very hard to communicate with. It takes SEVERAL days to get a referral. The doctors are uncaring. I was told at one point that my concern about my infant being sick for a week was unreasonable. Stay away!

After making an urgent care appointment for pelvic pain that had been going on for months, it took almost 2 weeks to receive notification of my test results, all of which were negative and cost over 600$ after insurance. There was no follow up and I was still in pain. I called to make another appointment and was told it was going to be three weeks until they could get me in, only after protesting was I able to get an appointment within a few days. I realized once there that I was not scheduled to meet with a doctor for the now complicated case of chronic pelvic pain I was having, but a Physicians Assistant with only two years of actual medical training, who was NOT a specialist in women's health. (I also found out later that PA's cases are not reviewed by a superior after only 7 months, which is horrifying). For a "Family Health Center" to not have a women's heath care specialist is misleading and irresponsible. I had to have my mother, a medical doctor, explain to the PA the treatment that was needed for me, and get her to cancel yet another series of tests that were already conducted that cost me hundreds of dollars out of my pocket. I am lucky I had someone to advocate for me while I was too frustrated and in pain to do it myself. I worry for the others who go to this so called "family health center" and do not have someone like that with extensive medical training to advocate for them on their behalf. I would never recommend this health center to anyone who can go anywhere else.

Been going there for years, terrible. Can barely keep their stuff together, weeks and many phone calls to get tesf result, follow up etc. Drs are poor, can't diagnose a case of strep let alone serious medical issues, prescribe meds with adverse side effects. Almost killed a friend with wrong diagnosis and wrong meds. Took 3 months and many failed guesses to address a minor skin rash. Primary Dr. Constantly leaving, being changed, very poor standard of care, given them years of the same complaints and they still act like I'm lying or just stupid. Files are a mess, it takes forever to get them to do anything. This place is a joke, Goodwin stitched me up really well once, aside from that my experience has been that they are poor Drs with bad attitudes and bad people skills.

Dr. Carl Beckler is my family Primary Care Physician and has provided excellent guidance and treatment for my family. I have found him to be thorough and recommends and reminds me to get follow up treatment or testing as necessary. He is a very good diagnostician and recently was able to identify a somewhat rare, in this part of the world, parasitic infection due to his thorough testing and follow up. I appreciate his professional and direct communication during my and my families visits. I would recommend Mettowee Valley Family Health and Dr. Beckler to any of my friends and relatives for any treatment of routine or less that critical needs. The clinic is not equipped to handle critical trauma and they will probably suggest the Rutland Regional Medical Center emergency room for those injuries or ailments they are not equipped to handle.

Dr. Beckler has been rude and interruptive, not looking at my overall health. He had me alone for an hour preaching to me. He says my only relief will come from above, and to pray. He refuses to give me any pain relief, not that I am "drug-seeker" but I have no doubt he has me labeled. I have burning feet, DJD, neuropathy (low-normal)...I had to beg for fish oil. He says pray, gave me his home number (it is in the book). I do believe in God, I am Catholic. God Bless us All!
