I called about a denied office visit claim back in October 2017, and I was assured the claim would be sent back through because it should have been covered by my policy and paid. I called back in November 2017, when the hospital sent another bill for the same office visit. Again, I was assured that this was an oversight and it should have been covered for a simple office visit. Low and behold, December rolled around, and another bill from the hospital. Since January 5th, I have called 5 times, each time setting my phone down and trying to go about my business while I waited on hold to talk to a service representative. Each time I called, I listened to the hold music for over an hour, never reaching a person. Once I pressed the wrong button and got a person, but the woman quickly informed me she could not deal with any claims from 2017, even though it was the first week of January, and 2017 was just a week ago. My claim was denied for a simple office visit. No details as to why, just denied. The Integris hospital wants their money. My insurance has been paid every month by my employer. This is a great inconvenience and cause of unnecessary stress to keep getting a bill with "Final Notice" because my insurance chose not to cover a simple office visit. Not so happy right now, since I don't have many choices for insurance as a public school teacher. I thought Healchoice was better than this. Please get rid of the failing automated phone system and put more real people on the phones.

I have been on hold for 2 hours and 30 minutes waiting to speak to someone in claims, because the company screwed up and didn't cover a visit to an urgent care even though I cleared with them before visiting that they do in fact take Healthchoice. The insurance company, for some ignorant reason, thought I had another source of primary insurance (which I certainly didn't) and therefore did not pay. Now I'm spending half a day waiting on hold when there are plenty of other phone calls I need to make. This insurance company is a joke, and should not be allowed to carry on shortchanging and inconveniencing the teachers of Oklahoma.

Cannot get a person on the phone, bad customer service. Tried 3 times now finally put on hold. Hanging up and trying again later. Automated systems do not save money.

My claim was denied for gong out of network, although it was an emergency, and there was no network hospital within 400 miles.

I can't reach anybody. I need to get back to my job. It's been over an hour of being on hold. Next year I will pick another insurance carrier.
