I was scheduled for a 10am appointment. Did not get to the doctor 1 1/2hr later. At the point of making my appointment I was told that I would have to pay my deductible up front of 150$. When I get called on at the office I was then told that I would have to pay 250$ because I had never been to that particular office. Very embarrassed to be talk to in a very condescending tone in front of everyone at the waiting area, I told then this was outrageous. I paid! I had no choice since I had this appointment for a month in advance. I saw the doctor for 10min and told that I need to get an MRI. After waiting again at the front for 20 min I was told that I would get a call to schedule an appointment for the MRI. The doctor did make the follow up appointment with her in two weeks. Three days later I CALLED health point medical group asking about the MRI. I was told that I would get a call for it when my insurance was approved. I called my insurance company and they told me I didn't need any pre-approval for any procedures. I called health poin medical group and told them that I would find my own MRI center. Which I did and they saw me that same day. I then got a call from health point medical group appointment dept the day before my follow up with the doctor. With no regard to my personal schedule. BOTTOM LINE NEVER GO TO THIS OFFICE AGAIN. note the doctor was great. I have more to say but I have to go to work.
